Privacy Policy

Voltra Trading ApS ("Voltra", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data when you use the Voltra Trading platform and website.

We are the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@ampiontrading.com.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for the following periods after account closure:

  • Identity and contact data: 5 years after account closure.
  • Financial and transaction data: 7 years in accordance with Danish bookkeeping requirements and our regulatory audit obligations.
  • Audit log entries: 7 years (mandatory retention).
  • Technical logs: 90 days.

After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of trusted third-party processors under appropriate data processing agreements:

  • Resend (Resend Inc.): Transactional email delivery (account access emails, evaluation notifications). Data processed in the US under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Stripe: Payment processing for the EUR 199 evaluation fee. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We do not store full card details.
  • Railway (Railway Corp.): Cloud infrastructure and database hosting. Your data is stored on Railway's EU-region PostgreSQL instances.

We may also disclose data to competent authorities where required by law.

5. International Transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions by the European Commission.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data where it is no longer necessary, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. These include password hashing, encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — in the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by GDPR.
