Recurring edge comes from wind and solar forecast error, load forecast error, cross-border flow shifts, and gas and carbon prices lagging into power. Your model doesn't need to know which driver it's capturing — it just needs to find them in the data.
Six pass criteria, measured over your 28-day evaluation window — an absolute filter, not a ranking. Clear all six by day 28 and your account converts to funded; everyone who clears them advances. Sharpe ratio and forecast accuracy are displayed throughout as diagnostics, not gates. Same rules then govern scaling on your rolling funded performance.
Your account equity has to finish at least 5% above where it started across the 28-day round. The headline result — no profit, no funded account.
No single day's P&L may breach a 5% loss of your account. One blow-up day ends the round — consistency beats heroics.
Your equity may not fall more than 10% from its highest point during the round. A trailing peak-to-trough cap that follows you as you grow.
You must submit on at least 20 of the 28 round days. Pure forecasting without committing doesn't clear the bar — you need to show up and trade.
Spearman rank correlation between your signal and the realised target. Your predictions have to line up with what the market actually does.
You must call the direction of the move correctly at least 52% of the time — clear of the naive 50% coin-flip baseline.
